About the Location

The park is in a quiet semi rural location in Lancashire, on the very edge of Southport. Some of our fields are bordered by Boundary Brook which forms the divide between Lancashire and Sefton.

There is a large Tesco Superstore 10 - 15 minutes walk from the park, together with B&Q, Halfords, Argos, Aldi and more.

The main A570 Southport to Ormskirk road is less than 5 minutes walk away and there are frequent buses which use the adjacent stops.

Southport has a range of amenities including the resorts pier, funfair, marine lake, shops, parks, theatres and arts centre, it also has many golf courses including the Royal Birkdale, which is only 10 minutes drive away. It is the start of the trans penine trail, a national cycle route which finishes in Hornsea on the east coast. Southport has a frequent railway service to Liverpool, Wigan and Manchester.

Ormskirk is 5 miles away,  a historic market town which still has open markets on Thursdays and Saturdays. It has an array of large stores and small independent shops, a craft gallery and swimming pool. Ormskirk is connected by rail to Liverpool and Preston.

There are visitor attractions nearby including the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Mere Sands Wood, Rufford Old Hall, Windmill animal Farm and Cedar Farm craft centre. There is also the nearby Leeds to Liverpool canal and many fine local Pubs and Restaurants.
